We recognise that high quality mentoring and professional development in the first years of your teaching journey provide the foundation for a successful and rewarding career in teaching . In order to ensure this we are dedicated to providing a structured early career programme that will allow ECTs to develop the knowledge, skills and experience they need in order to become excellent practitioners and have a positive impact on the progress and experience of students in their classroom.
We deliver a Core Induction Programme which means we provide ECT and mentor training in school through our own facilitators whilst using the resources and materials provided by Ambition. We believe that by using the evidence based and trialled materials and resources provided by Ambition within our own school and its local community context, ECTs and mentors will receive high quality training bespoke to their needs. Paperwork is streamlined to ensure that the focus is on quality conversations and professional development.
