Our Journey with education technology:

Wildern Trust is committed to using technology to support learning.  We are experienced providers of peer to peer support having maintained the ICT mark since 2006 coupled with our experience as an Apple Regional Training Centre from 2002.  For the past 15 years our digital vision has been to successfully embed the use of technology and to support other schools in doing so.

Our real strengths lie in designing a digital strategy for an entire school community and successfully deploying a 1:1 devices scheme.  We have an established EdTech CPD programme to support staff digital confidence and competence and this is one of our most shared areas of expertise from the first year of the demonstrator programme.

A summary of the support we can offer your school includes:

“The Trust is delighted to be part of the EdTech demonstrator programme; ICT is a strength and passion and working to support the wider system is part of our DNA. Sharing expertise and supporting professional learning of others is already well embedded as part of the culture of the Trust.  We are very proud of our work during 2020-21 as a demonstrator helping schools with remote learning and using Google workspace and look forward to many more successful collaborations this year. "
Marie Lou Litton, Executive Headteacher Wildern Trust

"We are thrilled to be part of this new energy for new technologies within the classroom. At Wildern, for many years, we have been at the forefront of using new technology to enhance learning; ensuring that the craft of teaching uses pedagogical strategies, drawn from current educational research, linked to cognition, retrieval and creativity intertwined with technological processes. This is a heady mix that encourages enthusiasm and motivation within our students. We are excited to be sharing this work with other students within other schools linked to our school strapline, 'Every student matters, every moment counts"
Ceri Oakley, Headteacher Wildern School
